My Everyday Makeup Look

Hey everyone!
Today I'm sharing with you my everyday makeup look. As you can see I like to keep it quite simple, playing up the eyes with winged eyeliner. Excuse the shine - I have very oily skin :/

Face Products

So these are the contents of my face. After washing and moisturising my face I start off using bareMinerals Original loose powder foundation buffing it into my face with Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

From there I conceal my eye area with Maybelline Cover Stick in one shade lighter than my actual skin tone to make them stand out a bit and to really hide those ghastly dark circles.

I then cover any imperfections using the other concealer stick. I have no idea what brand it is, it's that old, I'm literally scraping out the last bits atm. To really hide the imperfections I use Real Techniques Detailer Brush blending the concealer outwards and then lightly patting it with my finger to give it a natural look.

To keep that all in place I lightly brush over my whole face using Rimmel Stay Matte in translucent and Eco Tools Mineral Brush

Lastly, to add back some colour I apply Mac Blusher in Desert Rose on my cheeks, hairline and under my jaw line (I do not add anymore blusher to the brush for my hairline and under the jaw, just what ever is left on the brush from my cheeks).

Eye and Lip Products

So my eyes are the things I like to concentrate on the most and to make them pop I like to use L'Oreal Super Liner Mat-Matic Black liquid eyeliner. If my alarm didn't feel like waking me up in the morning I tend to skip this part.

After eyeliner comes curing the lashes and Mascara. Curling the lashes really opens the eyes, I use Mac eyelash curlers which, note to self, I need to get replacement rubbery things!

Mascara is another L'Oreal product. It is the Lash Architect 4D in waterproof black. I alway prefer waterproof as I feel like it hold curled eyelashes better. To see my review on L' Oreal Lash Architect 4D CLICK HERE

Next, onto eyebrows. As a ginger it's pretty hard to find a decent eyebrow pencil that matches. I use the Soap & Glory Archery in blonde starting off with the pen to fill in the brows and after using the pencil to define them.

Once that's all together and I've brushed my teeth I finish off with Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm in pink sheer.

Voilà! I am now ready to go about my business.

How do you do your everyday makeup? What products do you use?

Until next time
x
