Quick and Healthy Breakfast Recipes


 I present to you today, 7 quick and healthy breakfast ideas for when your in a rush and want something filling and tasty ready to eat in less then 10 minutes!

Rolled cinnamon French toast stuffed with banana and peanut butter - prep time: 10 minutes
Roll out the bread, place the peanut butter and banana pieces in a roll, place in the beaten egg, then roll around in the sugar and cinnamon and fry till crispy.
- 2 pieces of bread, rolled out
- 1banana, sliced 
- few scoops of peanut butter
-tsp brown sugar
- tsp cinnamon
-1 egg, beaten 
- oil (I use coconut) for frying

Two poached eggs on toast with some fruit - prep time: 6 minutes
Poach the eggs, I do this by using egg poaching aid, for about 5 minutes.
- 1 piece of toast
- 2 eggs
- handful of fruit

Peanut butter, banana and jam on toast with a banana - prep time: 5 minutes
- 2 pieces of toast
- 1 banana 
- peanut butter
- jam

Fruit plate with peanut butter on toast with mixed seeds - prep time: 8mins
This, although looks simple, takes a little longer than expected as the fruit takes a while to chop.
- 1 kiwi
- 1 banana
- 1 slice of melon
- 1 apple
- 1 piece of toast 
- peanut butter 
- handful of mixed seeds

3 ingredients pancakes topped with peanut butter, blue berries, mixed seeds and banana slices - prep time: 10 minutes
Blend all the ingredients together in a blender and cook in a frying pan, about 2 minutes on each side - this obviously takes longer if you have a small frying pan.
- 1 banana
- 2 eggs
- 1tbs cinnamon
- coconut oil for frying
and then decorate with you like

Almond milk porridge with banana, peanut butter and mixed seeds - prep time: 8 minutes
Follow the instructions on your oats and top with what you fancy.
- oats
- almond milk
- pinch of brown sugar
- 1 banana
- peanut butter
- handful of mixed seeds

Fruit and fibre with warm almond milk, banana, apple compote and mixed seeds - prep time: 8 minutes
Make the apple compote the night before and warm up in the microwave with the almond milk in the morning.  Add it all to the bowl and ta-da!
- cup of almond milk
- apple compote
- fruit and fibre (or any other cereal) 
- 1 banana
-handful of mixed seeds
