2015 Makeup Wishlist

Hey Ya'll

Okay so I've made a Wishlist of makeup things to buy and stick to it. I always find myself going into Boots picking up makeup bits and bobs that are on deal and that I really don't need! I need to stop that! Especially when half of them I use once and then they never see day light again. So even though some of these products are a bit pricy, I'm hoping they will be good investment buys.

This colour is a lovely nudeish brown and is apparently one of the colours Kylie Jenner wears and dem lips doe. But just generally I love dusky pinks and Twig is just a beautiful colour. I had been wearing 101 in the Kate Moss Rimmle line and loved it but it's time to upgrade.

Mac's Spice lipliner is used with Mac Twig Lipstick to get the fuller more defined lip look so this has to be on the list too.

Earlier this week I was looking for a new foundation as it is time for a change. I came across an article identifying the 6 best powder foundations for oily skin and NARS All Day Luminous Power was on there. After reading a number of blog reviews that also raved about it I thought I will give it a go. For my oily skin I always prefer powers over liquid foundations.

Again this product comes down to my oily skin. Use this during the day to keep the oil at bay. It mattifies and makes the skin looks smoother, however I do worry that it could end up giving off a caked look. There's only one way to find out Mark.

Yeah yeah, I know, I'm soooo late on this bandwagon! But I do not own a good eyeshadow pallet and everyone has been raving about the Naked Palette and the Naked2 Palette, colour wise, seem to be most up my street.

The Real Techniques brushes are to die for. I have the Core Collection (but may have ruined the buffing brush in the bath) and they are amazing, so with some powder foundations/setters on the wish list it's only appropriate if this powder brush gets thrown in too.

To go with Macs Ruby Woo lipstick which I recently got myself as a birthday present. Again it will give the look for fuller more defined lips.

I'm currently using the Soap & Glory Eyebrow Pencil and love it, it offers such a lovely and natural colour but just want to experiment and see if the Gel Pen is any better.

Have you tried any of these products? I would love to know your opinions if so.

Until next time.

  2. I have been trying to find a good lipstick, so I might have the Mac Twig Lipstick. It sounds like it is what I am looking for.
