With valentines day coming up I started to think about it today and realised that I have no idea what to do/to get for my boyfriend! This is going to be our first valentines day together so I want to make it special. I'm heading along the lines of making him something because to me, it shows that you have put thought and effort into it. A few months ago he asked me to make him a bedspread/ throw on so am thinking about that with some home made cakes and chocolates and if he's lucky a heart shaped egg and toast in bed! I came across some bargains while searching for what to do and thought I'll shear them with you guys.
Heart Egg Mould, £3.95- Prezzybox
Heart Mug in a Box, £6 - Paperchase
Heart Shaped Silicone Cupcake Cases, £9 - John Lewis
'With Love' Cookie Cutter, £4.95 - Not On The High Street
Glitter Heart Frame, £5 -Urban Outfitters
Silicone Heart Ice Cube Tray, £3.99 - Ebay
Here are some recipes that I will be experimenting with for valentines day:
Peanut Butter Cups - The Thriftiness Miss
Rice Crispy Hearts - Cooking On The Side
What are you doing for valentines day? Do you have your gifts sorted yet?

Aww, that sounds amazing. I think doing things/making things means a lot more than buying something. Hope you have a good day! Just on my way over to your blog :)

Those rice crispie hearts are sooo cool! X
ReplyDeleteThey do don't they! I was going to give them ago but the chocolate hearts are so much easier! I'm playing around with them though and making white chocolate ones and one with chocolate fudge in too :) Hoping they go down well x
